MAA for India, stands for March Against Anemia for India.
We are on a mission to eradicate Anemia from India. We start off by targeting Expectant Mothers and the First 1000 days of a child's life and give our best to make them Anemia free."Envisioning an energetic, healthy and Anemia free India"
Anemia is a medical condition where the body does not have enough healthy red blood cells. It is often categorised by less than normal haemoglobin levels in the body. Lack of healthy red blood cells lowers the blood oxygen carrying capacity, resulting in Fatigue, Paleness or even Death.
We are a team of people from various backgrounds including some experienced doctors who are motivated to remove anemia from the country. We bring doctors and volunteers on a common platform, conduct camps in villages, provide free treatment and spread awareness about Anemia, health and wellbeing in general. We are running a few programs. Some of them are as follows.
