“If you educate a man, you educate a man. If you educate a woman, you educate a generation” - Brigham Young

It is really important to spread awareness about the issue. It is necessary for people to understand that it could lead to severe health impacts if a person has anemia. Not just he/ she is fatigued, but it could lead to serious mental issues as well. It is worth noting that education and awareness plays a crucial role in keeping the illness at its bay. The simple idea that an educated mother subsequently leads to an educated child shows a significant decrease in the percentage of people suffering from the disease. The prevalence of anemia decreases with schooling, from 56% among women with no education to 49% among women with 12 or more years of education. This data shows how important it is to educate and spread awareness among the women in India since they comprise the strata of society hit most severely by the illness.

As a part of our initiative, we would be conducting awareness drives and educating people on the issue.
